So I was in New York covering the NOGI Pans back in 2011. I was returning to my hotel in the financial district after the tourney and stumbled upon the Tunnel to Towers Foundation Run honoring the first responders of 9-11. I had my camera with me so I thought it might be nice to snap a few pictures. Little did I know just how much the moment would get me. I just stood there for about 30 minutes crying and crying while taking photos of all these heroic selfless human beings who did so much to help their fellow human beings and do their job without question. Now these pictures aren’t very good but they hold special meaning for me as this was one of the most powerful moments of my life. #newyorkstrong #neverforget #NYFD #NYPD
